• Be well groomed and see that you’re dressed conservatively and professionally.  Wear clothes that are smart and clean.
• Your hair should be neatly groomed, and fingernails clean and clipped.  Cleanliness is an important aspect of providing medical care and hence very vital in any healthcare facility. Patients too feel reassured if their caregivers are neat and clean.
• Avoid wearing provocative clothing like short skirts or revealing T-shirts.  Also, don’t wear anything too casual such as jeans or sneakers.
• Don’t wear any heavy, garish makeup or heavy jewelry.

Highlight your accomplishments

Requirements for CNA Certification

Becoming a Certified Nusing Assistant (CNA) is not a difficult proposition these days.  Anyone who desires to become a certified nursing assistant,  can enroll in CNA Training courses either from the community college directly or from a hospital that provides free CNA training or online CNA training courses. These CNA training courses teach special skills that are required to become a CNA.  However, simply by completing the course one can not become a  CNA. NNAAP or the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program is the main CNA certification examination in the USA, which one has to pass for getting the certification.  More than a million CNA aspirants s take this exam every year.  This exam consists of  several parts which include the written, oral and the skill testing sections.  The first part is the written test which comprises various multiple choice questions that the candidates are expected to know, which cover the information and skills learned during the course of CNA training.

CNA and Phlebotomist Jobs
