There is one more option available to the students.  Large hospitals and reputed nursing homes offer free CNA training programs to students.  But this arrangement definitely comes with some terms and conditions.  The students are expected to work with these medical establishments for about a year and the students are required to sign a written agreement.  This can definitely work in favor of the students.  Firstly, the students are trained inside the medical establishments with state of the art facilities.  Secondly, they are trained by senior doctors and senior nurses who explain the practical aspects of the course while performing their own duties.   Thirdly and most importantly, the students are able to talk and interact with the patients.
